The time of year when the world's most famous and least understood currency explodes in value - seemingly for no reason.
In March last year, a single bitcoin was worth $5,000.
In December, it hit $20,000 for the first time.
As we came into the new year, $30,000.
And just days later, it's now $40,000.
It has those already on the Bitcoin train guessing at where it goes next.
