The binary digit is the most basic element of computation. I am starting my new Bitcoin Art Series with the concept of trying to build a representational portrait of how Bitcoin might be perceived in an image form.

Because of artistic impulse, when I read and study I naturally get mental images in my mind’s eye of the topic I am trying to focus on. I first read Satoshi Nakamoto’s Bitcoin white paper back in like 2012. I am rereading through it again slowly in order to break it down into smaller pieces and see if I can build up to creating an overall image of Bitcoin. The binary digit is my starting point.
