In this video, I'm talking about the trade that I took on Gold today. The trade gave me around a 1,7% return with a maximum risk of around 1%. That's not a big deal, but still a nice profit. We didn't get the big run on Gold, but taking partial profits made it possible to bank a nice profit anyways. Taking partial profits is one of the most important parts when it comes to forex trading! Nearly all beginner traders have the problem, that they are too greedy and try to catch the biggest run every time they trade. And the chance to get the biggest run is pretty low, compared to the first 1 or two targets around a smaller Risk-Reward Ratio. If you want to become a consistently profitable forex trader, you have to take partial profits and reduce your risk along the way on multiple targets. Otherwise, your accuracy will suffer and the market will turn around against you many many times, and you leave a lot of money on the table.
